While the Superbien lights are still on the sails for a few more days, the rest inside have been packed away. The artists are safely on planes and heading onto their next shows, or back into their studios to complete their various projects. People are starting to resurface from what can only be described as an epic 10 days.

Some of the worlds finest converged on Sydney, shared amazing performances, stole hearts ... and shook the Sydney Opera House in a way that engineers are still checking the foundations to make sure the famous iconic building will be ok.

2manyDJ and Soulwax brothers David and Stephen Dewaele are bringing their Radio Soulwax audio adventures to Australia for a unique series at the Vivid Live 2011.

From Tuesday May 31 (today!) to Friday June 3 between 6-7pm they'll be broadcasting from the Sydney Opera House, in a special studio the famous Concert Hall.

Each day they'll bring us backstage conversations with artists at the festival and specially themed mixes... Expect their take on themes as varied and random as 'Australia', 'New Stuff We're Into', the year '1973', and the very best of 'Italia'. Do Italians really do it better? We'll find out.

In a short number of days and hours the Sydney Opera House will be transformed into a sensory overload of lights, music and ideas.

Vivid kicks off this Friday night, when Superbien will flick the switch and transform the famous house and harbour, Lighting the Sails.

While inside the house, Tom Kuntz will unveil his incredible video installation featuring Lucky Dragons.

These events will run for the duration of the festival. And they're free.

While punk was still reverberating through popular culture, The Cure's unique blend of moody, atmospheric and unforgettable songs pioneered a new era in popular music and marked them for greatness from the start.

One of the world's most enduringly influential bands, The Cure have today been confirmed to perform for Vivid LIVE at The Sydney Opera House, curated by Modular's Stephen "Pav" Pavlovic.

The Cure will be appearing onstage with a uniquely evolving line-up of band members past and present.

The Cure "Reflections" will see the band perform their first three albums live, in their entirety, in an extraordinary concert experience exclusively for Vivid LIVE on May 31 and June 1.
