Pond, Canyons and Steele At Goodgod For Haiti Relief
Canyons will be playing chaperone to spiritual brothers Pond (who may or may not have a few things in common with Tame Impala) on their first ever visit to Sydney, this Friday at Goodgod to raise money for the Haiti earthquake. Steele will also be presumably spinning musical goodness for all in attendance.
Tickets are $15 on the door and all proceeds will go the Haiti victims relief fund.

Ladyhawke and Delphic Nominated for Brit Awards
Congratulations are in order to both Ladyhawke and Delphic, who were nominated for BRIT Awards earlier today. While Pip's up for 'Best International Female Solo Artist', Delphic are in the running for the prestigious 'Critics Choice.'
The full nomination list is up to browse at, and the awards be handed out on 18 February.

To kick off the Circa 1979: Signal to Noise events, Sydney's monumental Reels and Severed Heads played to an adoring/dancing crowd at the Beck's Festival Bar, at Hyde Park Barracks. DJ Steve Mallinder, founding member of Cabaret Voltaire topped the night off.
