After sharing their new singles There Is No Other Time and the accompanying A-side track, Children Of The Sun, Klaxons have this week let the world know their third studio album, Love Frequency, will be released this 30 May (Aus).
The follow-up to 2010's Surfing the Void features production from Gordon City, the Chemical Brothers' Tow Rowlands, Erol Alkan, and James Murphy, and was recorded throughout 2013.
Sydney trio Movement reveal their new track 'Like Lust', the lead track from their forthcoming self-titled EP. Made up of a slow-burning anti-song structure with a looping groove, it was recorded by the band at home, then optimized by Canadian producer and The Weeknd foil Illangelo, who was later recruited to provide additional production and mixing.
In the space of the past ten months, Jesse Ward, Lewis Wade and Sean Walker aka Movement released their first two singles, 'Feel Real' and 'Us', played a handful of shows, toured alongside Solange and will soon take to the stage with DARKSIDE. They clocked up over half a million plays each on YouTube and soundcloud, nabbed Best New Track (for 'Us') on Pitchfork, and all the while never shifted their focus from the new - the first fruits of which we share today.
The Presets 'Goodbye Future' is realised by Australian filmmaker Prad Senanayake, who recreates the chaotic history of mankind on the dancefloor. Lots of mixed colours, moody shadows, slow motion and strobe lights allows the viewer to taste short moments of chaos, across an intense and confronting trip. Prad shares: "There has been a lot of dark things happening in Australia and around the world recently, which became the inspiration behind (this)".

Klaxons are awakening. After a stint out of the spotlight they've returned with two new tracks - the clipped disco-tinged 'There is No Other Time' and the widescreen swagger of 'Children of the Sun'. And of course, they were just announced as one of the first headliners for this year's blissful island escape in Croatia, FOR Festival - taking place on Hvar island in Croatia from June 19th-22nd.
They've also provided us with some choice mixes over the past few years, including the 'Klaxons Acid Disko Mix', 33 minutes of audio primer for the best Summer of our lives.
You can pick up tickets to see Klaxons, DARKSIDE, Mark Ronson (DJ set), Erol Alkan, Factory Floor, Kelela and many more at FOR Festival here.
The new Klaxons album will be out later this year via Modular.
The Presets latest belter 'Goodbye Future' gets the royal remix treatment on March 7. Seven ambitious reworkings of the track bundled together with the original, highlighting the banging single's versatility. Bursting at the seams, the package will be available to purchase via all good online outlets.
Next cab off the ranks is homegrown heroes The Aston Shuffle, who pull it apart and elevate the strings and piano keys even higher. Fever peaks and one hell of an emotional breakdown.
Evergreen tourists Cut Copy reveal the latest single from their current album 'Free Your Mind' - the celestial 'We Are Explorers'. A playful album highlight, 'We Are Explorers' comes correct with a remix by Greek sample wizard and DFA affiliate Larry Gus, who turns the track into a gently chiming burst of worldly percussive fun.
Today it's yours to download for free.
Cut Copy are embarking on a world tour shortly. All dates below (tickets are available from CutCopy.net).
