While The Presets are in studio hibernation, they're being anything but dormant. Songs are coming together in a steady stream and release plans are coming together.
While they're bunkered down in the studios, Kim from the band wanted to share something for fans to enjoy, so he put together a mix of minimal musical treats he's been enjoying listening to lately.
Klub Tropikoala is the 'clubby' brother of Kim's prog-out mix that was dropped in our laps a couple of weeks back.
This time around Mr Moyes teams up with the notorious Kookabruthaz to give us thirteen chunks of exclusive and banging club tunes, including an unreleased Tiga remix from last year and a sneaky preview of a Via Tania remix.
It's a well known fact that the best things in life come in two parts. Take this week's Modcast for example, put together by the one and only Kim Moyes (aka KIM/Kim from the Presets) who has provided us with a whopping two week's work of musical ear candy. This first installment, the ambient 'Prog cast' is an ode to synthesisers, prog and all things chill. Stay tuned in coming weeks for the 'Clubby' mix.

A friendly reminder that Kim (Kimberley Isaac Moyes of Presets fame) has released his highly anticipated 2 disc collection of this last decade's worth solo output, in the form of Selected Jerks 2001-2009.
As one half of thrilling dance duo The Presets, Kimberley Isaac Moyes (aka Kim) has been making your dance-floors shake for years. During this time he has been tinkering on an array of solo efforts ranging from minimalist to mash-up. Some of these eclectic tracks have seen limited release (in 12 inch form) but are being collected here for the first time.
