Good Taste with the Bag Raiders: Rockpool Bar and Grill
Ever since I moved to Melbourne a few months ago I've been meaning to hit up a Rockpool Wagyu Burger. I've been there a few times for dinner and always dug it plus everyone I talk to seems to think it's the best burger in the universe (better even than In-N-Out!?) I was supposed to go with my buddy Bearnaise on Friday, but i was riding past the other day and I couldn't help but go in and slam one. I knew he would understand.

Cruising through Bondi Junction the other day, I had a sudden pang of longing. There are some calls of destiny that one can just not ignore in this life and none is quite so weighty and demanding as the call of the Bosh. Arguably Australia's best ramen chain (There's one in Bondi Junction, Galleries Victoria in the City and one on the Gold Coast), Ichiban Boshi has been providing fast and delicious service to its faithful customers for years now. If soup is love, then ramen is all the added bonuses that come along with it - i.e. sex and spooning.

Delphic Coming Downunder This March
Just as the Modular Xmas Party signalled the start of the silly season, come the end of March on the tail end of summer Modular will be throwing another outrageous do to signal the end. A showcase of new talent headlined by Delphic will be blowing up the spot in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to see off the sun.
Torchbearers of the new Madchester, Delphic are heading down here for the very first time for this whistlestop tour. Bringing with them their reportedly electrifying live act, this is your first chance to catch 2010's hot ticket from England's sunny north.
Delphic have spent the last 6 months collecting more "next big thing" and "best debut of 2010" tags than anyone's scrapbook has room for, and with good reason.
Their debut album Acolyte is a scintillating blend of classic Factory indie dance with the kind of resonant techno sheen that would have been impossible in the legendary label's heyday. Likewise, the Delphic live show has been receiving adulation for it's explosive flurry of frenetic energy and blistering car crash of lights and music.

2009 Triple J Hottest 100 Round Up
Well done team Modular, who represented a tidy 5% slice in this year's Triple J Hottest 100 pie chart, which was unveiled yesterday. Yeah Yeah Yeahs' peaked as the highest Mod act (with 2 songs no less), while Australia's own Wolfmother, Tame Impala and Bag Raiders bigged up the local side of things. Bag Raiders
Bag Raiders are an electro duo formed in 2006 in Sydney, Australia, consisting of DJs Chris Stracey and Jack Glass. The duo are well known for their remixes and live shows.
